'Oh, no'

Samantha Bee kicked off her Wednesday night episode of Full Frontal with a dream sequence of what life might have looked like on Nov. 9, following the presidential election.

Featuring appearances from Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Larry Wilmore, Patton Oswalt, Van Jones, and Katie Couric, among others, Bee is shown waking up on Nov. 9 and celebrating the day. No mention is made of either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in the sketch, but the segment ends with Bee waking up with a start and whispering, “Oh, no.”

On Wednesday’s show, Bee broke down Trump’s surprising win, laying blame for the election results at the feet of white voters.

“In the coming days, people will be looking for someone to blame: the pollsters, the strident feminists, the Democratic party, a vengeful god. But once you dust for fingerprints, it’s pretty clear who ruined America: white people. I guess ruining Brooklyn was just a dry run,” Bee said. “The caucasian nation showed up in droves to vote for Trump. So I don’t want to hear a goddamn word about black voter turnout. How many times do we expect black people to build our country for us?”
