If Zack Morris playing catcher for the San Diego Padres wasn’t enough to get you to tune into Pitch, then maybe Mark-Paul Gosselaar baring it all will be.

The former Saved by the Bell star covered up only his batting equipment for a nude photo promoting the FOX baseball drama. In the image, Gosselaar, who plays veteran catcher Mike Lawson, sports nothing but his knee pads.

The photo might make Lawson’s teammate and mentee, Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) feel a little better, considering that last week’s episode ended with nude photos of the pitcher being released.

Pitch tells the fictional story of Baker, the MLB’s first female player, and documents the ups and downs of the big league life for the young athlete, while she also deals with the uncharted waters of her newfound fame.

“The show takes place in the world of baseball, but it’s not about baseball; it’s about the relationships between the players, and their day-in and day-out struggles,” Gosselaar previously told EW. “There’s comedy, drama, and everything in between. I don’t think I’ve gone through an episode where I haven’t teared up, but that could be because I probably need to go on hormone treatment or something. I’ll chalk it up less to the hormones, and more to the magnificent writing.”

Fox’s 2016 drama Pitch features Kylie Bunbury as Ginny Baker, the first female player to join Major League Baseball. Dan Fogelman and Rick Singer created the series, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, and Mark Consuelos also star.
