With Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow set to cross over into each other’s shows and save the world together, viewers are going to have a lot of heroes on their hands.

So it might be useful to have a handy guide to the DC characters, as well as their shared universe — a.k.a. “the Berlanti-verse” (courtesy of the four shows’ executive producer Greg Berlanti).

Well, look no further!

EW: The Show has put together a handy explainer that tracks the different heroes’ interactions with each other over the last five years, while also giving viewers a sense of how the many different characters relate to one another’s shows, starting with the one that started it all: Arrow.

Watch this full episode of Entertainment Weekly: The Show, available now, on the new People/Entertainment Weekly Network (PEN). Go to PEOPLE.com/PEN, or download the PEN app on Apple TV, Roku Players, Amazon Fire TV, Xumo, Chromecast, iOS and Android devices.

And to read more on Berlantiverse, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly on stands Friday, or buy it here now – and subscribe for more exclusive interviews and photos, only in EW.
