In the weeks leading up to the presidential election, Supernatural star Misha Collins temporarily left Castiel’s trenchcoat behind as he traveled the country and encouraged voters to get to the polls and support Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. And with the news of Donald Trump’s win, Collins has taken to his Facebook page to encourage his fans that the fight is not over.

“The political process is but one way to affect change,” the one-time White House intern tells his fans. “I am going to make movies that change minds. I am going to spread a message of love and kindness that is infectious and I am not going to give up.” As Collins begins to tear up, he ends his message with: “I love this country too much.”

Watch his emotional video below.

Supernatural airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
