Legends of Tomorrow: The CW orders more episodes
The second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has been extended.
The CW has ordered an additional four episodes of the time-traveling Arrow-Flash spin-off, raising its current order from 13 episodes to 17 episodes.
After averaging 3.16 million total viewers in its first season, Legends is earning an average of 2.34 million viewers and a 0.9 in the 18–49 demographic for season 2. Adding new characters Citizen Steel (Nick Zano) and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) to the team, Legends has seen a creative resurgence in its sophomore outing.
The Legends will team up with Team Arrow and Team Flash during the upcoming four-way crossover later this month. Pick up this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly to get more info.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
