After spending the last few months encouraging people to go out and vote, Joss Whedon is turning his attention to something slightly different: making people laugh.

In his latest video (above), Whedon has spoofed his own previous star-studded PSA video—only this time, as the blooper reel shows, many of his friends (both famous and not) may have had a lot more trouble requesting viewers to vote.

“I would say to the people who have given up, you need one day of hope,” Whedon told EW this week. “I don’t want to scold people. I try to keep it light.”

Both videos were produced by the writer-director’s “Save the Day” super PAC which focuses on getting American citizens to vote on Election Day.
