Rae Sremmurd’s success hasn’t frozen with the #MannequinChallenge. Quite the opposite, actually.

A couple days after posting their take on the popular meme, streams for the rap duo’s track “Black Beatles” have increased 1,118 percent on Pandora, according to the streaming service. Spotify reported an increase of 173 percent for the song on its platform. As a result, the track has also moved to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The #MannequinChallenge meme has taken off in the last week. A scene is shown with people frozen in place, like the meme’s namesake, often scored to the SremmLife 2 cut single featuring Gucci Mane. When the beat drops and the songs gets going, the stillness typically drops. The group’s account and its brotherly duo — Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi — have regularly retweeted fan attempts at the challenge.
