On Nov. 18, Harry Potter fans will get to see Newt Scamander chase after the magical creatures of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, J.K. Rowling’s prequel to the wizarding world. But before then, Warner Bros. released five clips from the film featuring Newt’s first New York experience, an intense interrogation, a goblin, and much more.

Directed by David Yates, Fantastic Beasts stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt, a magizoologist who comes to 1920s New York City with an enchanted briefcase full of magical creatures. We see him evade Muggle (excuse us, No-Maj) detection in the clips, but some of these beasts eventually escape and threaten to expose magic to the human world.

Some of them include the rat-like Murtlap, the shy Bowtruckle in Newt’s pocket, and whatever barreled through the wall of his apartment.

He soon encounter a No-Maj named Jacob (Dan Fogler) and two sister witches, Tina (Katherine Waterston) and Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), who help put the proverbial genie back in the bottle. This mission leads them to Gnarlack (Ron Perlman), the goblin owner of a magical speakeasy called The Blind Pig, who may have some intel — for a price, of course.

In another clip, we see Colin Farrell as Percival Graves, an Auror for the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA for short). He interrogates Newt about his sudden and boisterous presence in the city, while name-dropping a couple famous wizards Potter fans will recognize.
