After Wally West’s reveal that he too was dreaming of a timeline in which he had powers, it was only a matter of time before Doctor Alchemy came calling.

During Tuesday’s upcoming episode of The Flash, Wally’s (Keiynan Lonsdale) dreams about being Kid Flash become more intense, raising the question of just how far he’ll go to get powers. He literally jumped in front of traffic in an attempt to jumpstart his transformation a few episodes back, so is Team Flash at all nervous that Wally West could turn villain in exchange for powers?

“Absolutely,” Danielle Panabaker tells EW. “There are so many questions about Doctor Alchemy and his intentions, and how he’s going about turning people evil. As much as we’ve seen, all Doctor Alchemy does is turn people bad. He’s not out there like Santa Claus giving people wonderful, delightful gifts. I do think it is a concern, and you will see that very soon, the team’s fear of Doctor Alchemy, his power and influence on others.”

As Caitlin’s new powers really manifest, will she therefore find some common ground with Wally? “As far as we know, Wally doesn’t have powers in this version of the timeline yet,” Panabaker hedges. “Caitlin has tried to be empathetic to the situation that he does want powers, while still keeping secret that she does have them.”

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
