'The Real O'Neals' gets three more episodes

American Housewife can make itself at home. ABC has ordered an additional nine episodes of the sitcom starring Katy Mixon as a wife and mother carving out a life for her down-to-earth family in tony Westport, Connecticut, EW has learned. That brings the the full season order to 22 episodes.

The pickup comes after four episodes of the show, which follows The Middle on Tuesday nights. Sarah Dunn created American Housewife, and the cast also includes Diedrich Bader, Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, and Julia Butters.

ABC has ordered three more episodes of The Real O’Neals, bringing the comedy’s second season to 16 episodes. Starring Martha Plimpton, Jay R. Ferguson, and Noah Galvin, the show centers on a seemingly perfect Irish Catholic family whose lives are messier than they might appear.

American Housewife airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET, and The Real O’Neals airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET.
