Your own Office Christmas Party may not include Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller, Jason Bateman, Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Courtney B. Vance, and Jillian Bell, but the new trailer for the upcoming holiday comedy gives a pretty good idea of what that might look like.

Aniston stars as a no-nonsense CEO who’s planning to shut down her brother’s local branch, so he (Miller) and his coworkers concoct a plan to throw a massive holiday rager and impress a client. But as the trailer reveals, things quickly go off the rails — especially once the flaming Christmas tree jousting begins.

Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory) directed Office Christmas Party, and last month, they talked to EW about finding the perfect balance of holiday cheer and debauchery.

“We spend 364 days a year surrounded by people who kind of are our family, but we never really get to meet them or break through with them,” Gordon told EW. “There is this tradition where one night a year, you do meet them, and it’s dangerous and it’s destructive, but ultimately, it might be the most important night of the year…. It’s a different kind of Christmas movie, because it’s life-affirming — but it’s really, really f—ed up.”

Office Christmas Party will hit theaters on Dec. 9.
