Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder hasn’t been shy about his devotion to the Chicago Cubs during this year’s World Series, and after the team won the title for the first time since 1908 on Tuesday, the franchise celebrated by setting an emotional montage of fans and players celebration to his tune, “All The Way,” which Vedder wrote specifically about the Cubs.

“We are one with the Cubs, with the Cubs we’re in love,” he sings. “Yeah hold our head high as the underdogs. We are not fairweather but foul-weather fans. We’re like brothers in arms in the streets and the stands.”

The clip ends with a proclamation: “Today is our day.”

Vedder released the song as a single in 2008 and reportedly wrote “All The Way” after the late famed Cub Ernie Banks asked him to write a song about the Cubs before fantasy camp.

Vedder has appeared at multiple games during the World Series, partying with fellow Cubs obsessive Bill Murray and singing the Seventh Inning Stretch.
