Election 2016: Sausage Party release campaign ads
Tired of the major political party presidential candidates? Consider the Sausage Party.
Ahead of Sony’s adult animated comedy’s home video release on Election Day (Nov. 8), the studio unspooled a slew of campaign ads pumping up the merits of the top hot dog, Frank (Seth Rogen). The spot touts the link’s morals and stances on the most pressing of issues, including his romantic relationships (“I’m a bunogamist”), seeking peace in the Middle Eastern shelves, and the legalization of marijuana.
“Frank is willing to reach across the aisle and isn’t afraid to tackle issues that matter most,” Sony Pictures Home Entertainment said in a statement. “In one of the most divisive and contentious elections we have ever seen, food can be the great bridge that helps unify our nation and heals our country’s problems, including hunger. Besides, what is more American than a hot dog?”
