Let the countdown to January commence!

In a first look at season 21 of The Bachelor, fans see two-time Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall make his big debut. In the new promo, released by E! News, the 36 year old looks as dapper as ever while holding a rose.

“The next scream you hear may be your own,” the announcer begins. We then hear women start screaming as the voiceover says, “Happy Halloween!”

The camera then pans to a smiling Viall, who eagerly awaits his season to premiere in January 2017.

Prior to the new promo’s release, the heartthrob told PEOPLE that he hopes this season will be his last. “I’m hopeful I’ll find someone to spend the rest of my life with,” he said. “I couldn’t be more excited to find that amazing connection.”

“I don’t want to pick someone because they’re the last woman standing,” Viall added. “My biggest fear isn’t necessarily getting my heart broken. It’s not finding the right one.”
