Lady Gaga crashes James Corden's monologue
When Lady Gaga appeared on The Late Late Show Tuesday night, she obviously participated in host James Corden’s signature Carpool Karaoke bit, but the pop star didn’t stop there. Gaga also crashed Corden’s monologue, walking out to take Reggie Watts’ intro and the audience applause at the beginning of the show when the host was nowhere to be seen.
“Who’s ready for some topical monologue jokes, yeah?” Gaga said. “Donald Trump is launching a nightly news show on Facebook which will stream Trump’s rallies. It’ll be kind of like airing my concerts, except instead of Little Monsters, there’s actual monsters.”
Eventually, an outraged and bedraggled Corden walked on stage, without pants or a suit jacket, wondering what the hell was happening with his show.
Corden and Gaga soon reached a compromise: He took back control of The Late Late Show, but Gaga got to sit in with Watts and the band for the rest of the show. She even played one of her new songs, “A-Yo,” dressed in the pink Joanne hat.

Corden will also be appearing at EW PopFest this weekend! Click here for details and tickets.
