While Wonder Woman actresses Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter commemorated the character’s 75th anniversary at the United Nations on Friday, Zack Snyder celebrated in his own way: the Justice League director released a new image of DC’s Amazonian warrior princess from the film in all her fiery glory.

Snyder previously released new looks at Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Batman (Ben Affleck) in his new tactical suit, Commissioner Gordon (J.K. Simmons), and Queen Mera of Atlantis (Amber Heard). This new snapshot sees flames illuminating Diana Prince (Gadot) as she stands battle ready amid the chaos.

On Friday, Gadot and Carter were present as the U.N. named Wonder Woman an honorary ambassador for the empowerment of women and girls. “In some magical and mystical way, there lies within each of us Wonder Woman,” Carter, who played Diana on the 1970s TV series, told the audience. “She is real. She lives and she breathes. I know this because she lives in me, and she lives in the stories that these women tell me, day in and day out. I see it in the letters and in the stories. I read it on social media. I see it in the tears that fall from the eyes of the women who say it saved them from some awful thing that they endured — because they saw that they could do something great.”

Diana will return on the big screen for the Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman (June 2, 2017) before joining up with her fellow DC heroes in Justice League (Nov. 17, 2017).
