Great Scott! The Good Place is about to offer up some enticing guest casting.

Adam Scott will appear in multiple episodes of NBC’s afterlife comedy, EW has learned exclusively. The Parks and Recreation alum will first pop up in the Oct. 27 episode of NBC’s afterlife comedy. Details on his character are being kept under wraps, but it is worth noting that the Oct. 20 episode ended with Eleanor (Kristen Bell) coming forward and admitting to Michael (Ted Danson) that she was not supposed to be in the Good Place, and that it was her presence that was causing everything to go awry.

The casting reunites Scott with Parks overlord Michael Schur, who created The Good Place, and Scott with Bell, who appeared together on Party Down, Veronica Mars, and Parks.

Scott will star with Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon in HBO’s upcoming mini-series Big Little Lies.

The Good Place‘s midseason finale airs Nov. 3.
