It’s been six years since Rockstar’s open-world Western Red Dead Redemption took the gaming world by storm. In that time, video game graphics have improved tremendously. That visual difference is highlighted in the new trailer for the long-awaited sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2.

After a week of teases, the trailer doesn’t give any more plot details or showcase any gameplay. What it does have is beautiful shots of Western landscapes: A ranch, a river, the sun shining through trees.

After several such cinematic eye-candy setpieces, there’s a sudden fire, and a voice declares, “When the time comes, you gotta run and don’t look back. This is over.” The idyllic landscape is then replaced by seven riders galloping furiously through the hills. These seven figures also appear in the game’s promo art, and hint at multiplayer capabilities.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out fall 2017. Watch the first trailer above.
