Queen have shared an alternate version of their ubiquitous anthem “We Will Rock You.” Recorded during a BBC session on Oct. 28, 1977 — the same day the band’s News of the World, which features “We Will Rock You,” was released in the U.K. — the “fast” cut ratchets up the song’s familiar stomp-and-clap tempo.

This version of “We Will Rock You” appears on Queen on Air, an upcoming two-disc collection due Nov. 4 that compiles the band’s appearances on the BBC between 1973 and 1977. An expanded six-disc iteration of Queen on Air, including additional live recordings as well as interviews with Queen’s members, will be released the same day. To preview that collection, Queen also shared brief clips of interviews with drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May, recorded in 1980 and 1982, respectively.
