Stephen Merchant’s character in Logan has been unmasked.

A pair of photos shared on social media Tuesday by director James Mangold and Merchant himself offer a glimpse at the English actor made up for the third installment of the Wolverine film series.

Mangold’s image is a haunting portrait depicting Merchant with bleached-white skin, a bald pate, and icy blue-green eyes. Merchant’s black-and-white photo — captioned “How I spent my summer” — shows him shielded from the elements by a brimmed hat and a kerchief.

Fox has yet to confirm the specific character Merchant is playing, but a recent report by The Wrap pegged him as Caliban, the albino mutant and information broker previously played by Tómas Lemarquis in X-Men: Apocalypse. A spokesperson for the studio did not respond to request for comment.

Logan also stars Hugh Jackman in the title role, Patrick Stewart as an aged Professor X, and Boyd Holbrook as the villainous Pierce. The film is rumored to be inspired by the 2008 comic book storyline Old Man Logan, which features a washed-up Wolverine and a post-apocalyptic setting.

Logan hits theaters March 3, 2017. Check out the new photos of Merchant below.
