Peter Florrick’s story isn’t over — at least, that’s what Chris Noth has to say about the character fans loved to hate on The Good Wife.

So when Noth was asked at the La Costa Film Festival Friday if he’d consider making an appearance (or two!) in the planned spin-off for CBS All Access, he gave an unequivocal yes.

“I’d be happy to do a couple of episodes,” he told former EW film writer Dave Karger during a Q & A session for the crowd. “I’d love to see where that guy ended up. He finished the series just like he started it, by saying he wasn’t guilty. He’s such a great character.”

Noth, who starred in this year’s indie film White Girl, was at the festival in San Diego County to accept the inaugural Shining Star Award. He also recently appeared in the FX drama Tyrant after playing Peter Florrick for seven years on CBS’ The Good Wife.

The CBS All Access series will also star Delroy Lindo and Sarah Steele, who played Eli Gold’s daughter in the series. The spin-off will premiere on CBS before shifting to the streaming service. Robert and Michelle King, who created the series for CBS, will executive produce the spin-off.
