Stranger Things 2 casts two new characters
- TV Show
The second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things is perhaps the most eagerly anticipated series return of 2017, and we now have some new details: EW has confirmed that newcomers Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink have landed major roles in the Things “sequel” as Billy and Max, respectively.
Montgomery (Power Rangers) is “Billy, Max’s hyper-confident, and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games, and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma, is a violent and unpredictable nature.”
Sink (American Odyssey) will play “Max, a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her.”
Things creators The Duffer Brothers previously told EW in August that there would be four new characters coming to the show.
Stranger Things 2 will debut on Netflix in 2017.
Netflix’s hit sci-fi series follows a group of kids in the '80s battling supernatural forces in Hawkins, Ind.
