The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Fans of Elvis Presley can listen to a powerful new version of “The Wonder of You” ahead of the release of The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic. This album follows last year’s If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and its success prompted another addition with some more Presley classics.

“’The Wonder of You’ was a hit originally for Ray Peterson and I always loved the song,” Producer Don Reedman tells EW. “When Elvis decided to put it into his Las Vegas act I loved the way he put his energy and passion into the song and made the lyric so uplifting and positive.

The track also benefited from the new production. “I felt it could sound bigger and better with our production with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and would be a wonderful song to finish the album,” Reedman says. “The title is a positive statement and that is why I felt it was the right song to title the album with; it leaves you feeling uplifted and joyful, the way Elvis liked to make his audience and fans feel.”

Hear “The Wonder of You” below and find The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic out Oct. 21. The deluxe box version with two additional songs will be available Dec. 2.
