Can Josh Take A Leap of Faith?

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star and co-creator Rachel Bloom has already received critical praise for her musical series, and now she’s being hailed as the bingiest Bingeworthy show out there.

The latest People/Entertainment Weekly episode of Bingeworthy served as a soapbox for host Jessica Shaw to endlessly gush over the musical comedy and its leading lady. “I am binging it now and I want you to binge it with me,” said Shaw to co-host Touré. Bloom earned the Golden Globe this year for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Comedy or Musical (it’s both!), which sent shockwaves of support for the new series.

Shaw regaled her on-screen friend with the wacky but intriguing plot of the show, which follows a successful lawyer (Bloom) who drops her life in New York to move to West Covina, California in the hopes of snagging her high school crush. Apart from the interesting plot, Shaw stressed the amazing concept of a weekly musical. “She does insane songs about Spanx, and like waxing, and yoga,” she said.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend returns to The CW on Oct. 21.
