As with Samantha Bee, host Stephen Colbert didn’t wait until his next new show to weigh in on Donald Trump’s 2005 comments to then-Access Hollywood host Billy Bush about grabbing women by the “p—y.”

On Friday evening, Colbert released a video online explaining how his Friday night broadcast was taped on Thursday because of the holiday weekend. “We also have in the monologue, a lot of nice material about how Donald Trump does not respect women. But here’s the deal: We actually recorded tonight’s show last night because it’s Columbus Day weekend, and we’ve got tonight and Monday off,” Colbert said. “We did not know today, this afternoon, there would be an audio release of the motherlode, the El Dorado, of Donald Trump misogyny gold.”

Released on Friday by the Washington Post, the 2005 video features Trump and Bush making graphic remarks about then-Access Hollywood host Nancy O’Dell and Days of Our Lives star Arianne Zucker. “I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look,” Trump said of O’Dell in the video, after admitting he tried to “f— her” but failed. (Trump was married at the time of the comments to his current wife Melania.)

Later in the footage, Trump said he is “automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.” After an interjection from Bush — “Whatever you want” — Trump added, “Grab ’em by the p—y. You can do anything.”

In his own video, Colbert watched the Trump footage, but stopped before it was over.

“I think that’s enough. I think I have the idea,” Colbert said. “Here’s what I really found disgusting: Trump says in the video, ‘when you’re a star, they let you get away with anything.’ And unfortunately that’s true. Because Donald Trump is the Republican nominee. Hopefully someday he’ll be telling the story about he tried to f— America and failed.”
