“The man, the myth, the legend.” John Wick has returned and he’s ready to unapologetically take his target.

The first official trailer for John Wick Chapter 2, released Saturday at New York Comic Con, begins with a return to form for the titular assassin, played once again by Keanu Reeves, as he is fitted for an upcoming mission. Joined by returning cast Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane, and Bridget Moynahan, Wick is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild.

Shots of the Rome setting tease the international drama Wick will encounter, including a new villain played by Ruby Rose. In a wonderful nod to Reeves’ past work, Laurence Fishburne appear in the film, creating a new universe for the former Matrix costars to play in.

The Chad Stahelski film will feature the energetic and fast-paced action that surprised audiences in the first film, with a story from returning writer Derek Kolstad. In a recent interview with EW, Stahelski noted the choice of a European setting. “We thought about all the cities we could go to, and because we have a certain kind of style with the suits, and the etiquette, we just thought Italian style and sensibility was best suited for our film,” he said. “So, we went and shot in Rome.”

John Wick Chapter 2 opens Feb. 10, 2017.
