There’s no better way to celebrate the DVD release of Finding Dory than through the film’s breakout character: Hank the Octopus.

Well, make that septopus. A freak leg-related accident left the surly Hank — voiced by Ed O’Neill — all the surlier for having been reduced to only seven limbs and, thereby, going from octopus to septopus.

The folks at Disney have decided to usher in the home entertainment release of Finding Dory by honoring Hank with the official coinage of World Septopus Day on Friday, Oct. 7.

As it turns out, that’s just one day shy of World Octopus Day on Oct. 8. Why waste your time with eight legs when you can steal a summer movie with just seven?

Finding Dory is out digitally on Oct. 25 and on Blu-ray/DVD on Nov. 15.
