Jimmy Kimmel will not be left out of the vice presidential debate.

According to Kimmel, Tuesday night’s debate between Mike Pence and Tim Kaine was “like watching a glass of whole milk do battle with a jar of low-calorie mayonnaise.” Kimmel’s bigger grievance, however, was that they didn’t invite him, even though he has spent the past year promoting himself as a vice-presidential candidate.

To rectify the mistake, Kimmel invited Kaine and Pence to join him on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to have a full debate. The real VP candidates didn’t show, but that didn’t stop moderator Guillermo from giving them each 30 seconds to answer a group of unique questions, including, “Why does taxes?”

After waiting through many seconds of silence, it was finally time for Kimmel’s question. Guillermo asked, “Is immigration for everywhere?” After asking for a repeat of the question, Kimmel responded, “Yes, I think immigration is for everywhere.” According to Guillermo, this was the right answer, so Kimmel got showered with confetti, a tiara, and a sash reading “debate winner.”
