Grimes released seven new music videos on Wednesday to accompany songs from her fourth studio album Art Angels, released last year.

In a note to fans posted on her Twitter account, Grimes explained the videos had been shot over a two-week period as she traveled Europe on her AC!D REIGN tour last spring alongside her brother Mac and best friend Hana, who is also an artist.

“They are guerrilla-style videos, a la realiti,” she wrote, referencing the Realiti” music video she released in March 2015, before Art Angels came out. “There was no crew, make-up, cameras, lights. Just us and a phone, so maybe don’t expect anything too fancy. That said, we’re really proud of what we made.”

Grimes uploaded four videos of her own, (“World Princess Part II,” “Butterfly,” “Scream” ft. Aristophanes, and “Belly of the Beat”) and also touted the three filmed for Hana’s songs (“Chimera,” “Underwater,” and “Avalanche”).

“Initially we set out only to shoot something for [‘World Princess Part II’], but we felt done after a couple days, so we kept shooting in between shows and on days off, and started shooting videos for Hana, too,” she explained. “[Collaborator] Aristophanes also played some shows with us, so we were able to shoot ‘Scream.’ Linda and Alyson, who dance in the show, also appear in the videos.”
