Middle School: Worst Years of My Life clip turns Post-Its into a revolution
Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life
Middle school may be the worst years of growing up, but it doesn’t mean they have to pass by without a fight.
EW has an exclusive clip from the upcoming teen comedy, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, in which Rafe Khatchadorian (Griffin Gluck) takes on the overbearing faculty and administration of his terrible school with the help of his new friends. With a colorful myriad of Post-It notes, the gang first creates a yellow wonderland in Principal Dwight’s (Andrew Daly) office, which is just the beginning of their creative justice.
Ida Stricker (Retta) tries to find the source of the school takeover, but as she walks the halls, she realizes that there’s a mutiny on her hands as “Rules aren’t for everyone” is displayed neatly across a set of lockers. It looks like it’s war.
A coming-of-age comedy with a dash of fantasy, the film also stars Lauren Graham, Rob Riggle, Adam Pally, Isabella Moner, and Thomas Barbusca.
Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life hits theaters on Oct. 7.
