Almost 38 years after starring together in the Academy Award-winning film The Deer Hunter, Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken are set to reunite.

EW has confirmed that Walken and Eugene Levy are joining De Niro in the upcoming comedy The War With Grandpa, which is based on Richard Kimmel Smith’s 1984 children’s book.

The film version will feature a young boy turning to pranks to win back his room after his recently widowed grandfather (De Niro) moves in. While the boy turns to his friends for help in the prank war, so does De Niro’s character, which includes Walken, who will play his best friend.

At the 1979 Academy Awards, Walken took home the Best Supporting Actor trophy for his work opposite De Niro in Michael Cimino’s epic war drama. The duo also both appeared in the 1992 dramedy, Mistress.

Tim Hill (Hop) is directing the feature, which will be released by Dimension on April 21, 2017.

Deadline first reported the news.
