EW PopFest just added another reason to turn up: Rapper-singer Lizzo is set to perform at the ultimate pop culture festival this month.

The Minneapolis-born MC behind such bangers as “Good as Hell” and “Phone,” will be fresh off the release of her new EP Coconut Oil as she brings her uplifting blend of hip-hop and soul to the PopFest stage Oct. 29.

Lizzo joins a musical lineup that also features Nick Jonas, Janelle Monáe, Tove Lo, Jake Miller, and Cardiknox.

Additional PopFest programming will include cast members from Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural, Happy Endings, and all four superhero shows on the CW (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow), as well as Gilmore Girls creator/executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino. Jennifer Aniston will appear with her Office Christmas Party cast mates, Eddie Redmayne will conjure up a sneak peak of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and PopFest will kick off with an advance screening of Marvel’s Doctor Strange.

EW PopFest runs from Oct. 29-30 at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to
