It’s been a week since we finally found out who was pushed over the balcony in Empire‘s explosive season 3 premiere. And, while many viewers were sad to see Rhonda Lyon go, that didn’t stop Kaitlin Doubleday from dealing with her TV death with a little humor.

During her recent appearance on Entertainment Weekly: The Show, Doubleday gave a hilarious eulogy in memory of her fallen character.

“It’s the end of an era for the Lyon family saga,” she says. “No more scheming, no more angling, no more designing stylish clothing for the Empire Entertainment fashion label.”

Lee Daniels and Danny Strong created this Fox drama about a kingpin of hip-hop (played by Terrence Howard) and his family, who fight him for control of the empire.
