After 11 albums, punk rock band Green Day is still kicking, and Thursday night, they released a new song from their upcoming 12th album.

“Still Breathing” is the third song the rockers have shared from Revolution Radio, which drops on Oct. 7. “Bang Bang” and title track “Revolution Road” were released earlier this year.

The new song features acoustic guitar and a message of overcoming any adversity to “make my way to you.” Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong sings, “I’m like a junkie tying off the last time/ I’m like a loser that’s betting on his last dime/ Oh, I’m still alive,” but he seems determined to battle on as he keeps his head “above the rain and roses.”

The animated lyric video features a beating heart, pumping lungs, a skull, and a soldier’s dog tag — a common motif in Green Day’s work.

The group’s North American promo tour was set to begin this week, but the first four dates were postponed due to an illness which affected both the band and crew. Those dates are yet to be rescheduled, with the shows now kicking off on on Sept. 26 in Columbus, Ohio.
