A few weeks ago, Saturday Night Live asked fans on Twitter to suggest hosts for season 42. Did they listen? You tell us: Margot Robbie has been named as host of the season 42 premiere.

The Suicide Squad star, whose credits also include The Wolf of Wall Street and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, will be joined by musical guest The Weeknd, whose new album, Starboy, will be released on Nov. 25.

There were, as you may have heard, a few shake-ups at SNL over the summer. Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam, and Jon Rudnitsky were sent home, and three new cast members were added: Mikey Day (who was a writer on the show), and comedians Alex Moffat and Melissa Villaseñor. In addition, the show promoted Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider to co-head writers.

The season premiere airs Oct. 1.

The original late-night comedy sketch show from the one and only Lorne Michaels.
