Canadian EDM duo Zeds Dead will release their new studio album, Northern Lights, on Oct. 14. The project features a bevy of high-profile guests — from Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo to Pusha T — and the duo released “Blame,” a collaboration with Swedish singer Elliphant and superstar producer Diplo, in July. They’ve now shared a dramatic animated clip for the cut.

“With the music video, I wanted to channel in on the vicious cycle and nature of self-destruction — whether it comes to a weekend rager, technological development versus nature, or current events in youth versus authority,” says director Chris Yee. “Visually, I wanted to channel the look an an ’80s space opera.”

Earlier this year, Elliphant made waves with her infectious, Azealia Banks-assisted cut “Everybody.” Northern Lights will also feature Jadakiss and Twin Shadow.
