Stranger Things: Sophie Turner loves Millie Bobby Brown
Sansa loves Eleven.
On Sunday’s Emmys red carpet asked Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, Empire lead Taraji P. Henson, and UnREAL costars Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer to which female actors or characters they would most love to embody.
“I love Millie Bobby Brown,” said Turner, who plays Sansa on the hit HBO show, praising the Stranger Things star. “Oh my God, she’s amazing. How is this happening? There are, like, 12-year-old kids who are 10-times better than all the adults. They’re showing us all up. It’s embarrassing.”
Zimmer, too, was a fan of Brown and her portrayal of Eleven on the hit Netflix series. “She’s a little girl with so much power. I think it’s incredible that we’re starting now to represent women on television younger and younger, and I think she’s a perfect example.”
In addition to beloved female characters, the stars also revealed what kind of advice they would give their younger selves. “Don’t be so bad!” Turner said, adding, “Watch Lena [Headey], watch Peter [Dinklage] and don’t act like a f—ing 2-year-old.” Henson, meanwhile, recited a mantra for her past self: “Relax, relate, release, believe, and commit.”
