Power Rangers reboot: Reveals Zords In New Cast Posters
- Movie
The Power Rangers are gearing up to hit New York Comic-Con next month, and they’re bringing some new artwork along for the ride.
Lionsgate unveiled the quintet of character posters ahead of the studio’s NYCC panel on Oct. 8 — showing off the mighty morphin’ team’s new (and very shiny) Zords.
The film, which is a reboot of the ’90s TV series, follows Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, and Zack (played by Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G and Ludi Lin, respectively), a group of high schoolers who become the Power Rangers in order to defend their town from alien forces.
Bryan Cranston also stars in the reboot, playing Zordon, the team’s floating-head leader, while Elizabeth Banks will take on the role of master villainess Rita Repulsa.
The whole cast will be attending the panel, which will offer fans a look at the movie, followed by a Q&A with the cast and filmmakers. Attendees will also be given a glimpse at footage from John Wick: Chapter 2, followed by a Q&A with the cast of that film.
Check out the new posters (and Zords) below. The new Power Rangers movie will hit theaters on March 24, 2017.
