We finally know when Fuller House season 2 will be released!
The reboot’s second season will hit Netflix on Dec. 9, Candace Cameron Bure announced on The View Wednesday morning. The co-host and actress said the season will cover several special events.
“I’m super excited our season this year is very holiday themed,” Cameron Bure shared. “We have a Halloween show, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, and lots of family. “
Debuting last February, the fist season of the reboot — which follows D.J. (Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) as they care for D.J.’s three children — was a streaming success for Netflix. Fuller House was renewed for a second season less than one week after it premiered.
The upcoming season premiere is called “Welcome Back,” according to a photo of the script shared by Sweetin. As for special guests, New Kids on the Block members Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, and Jordan and Jonathan Knight will appear together on the second season, while Hal Sparks (Queer as Folk) has replaced Jason Marsden as DJ’s ex-boyfriend Nelson.
Cameron Bure also announced that she will be taking some time off from The View to film her new holiday movie and said she’ll be back in mid-October.
Full House original cast members Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, and Lori Loughlin are also expected to return for guest appearances.
