Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former Caddyshack star, now, about to become the premiere golf apparel champion. It looks like…Bill Murray!

The Murray Brothers — Bill, Brian Doyle (who co-wrote the screenplay), and Joel — are teaming up to honor the film and the popular sport it centered around with an exclusive apparel line. William Murray Golf, from Resignation Media and theCHIVE, will break away from the traditional golf apparel companies by bringing a new look and feel to the industry with a little irreverence and a lot of style.

Apart from his numerous iconic screen roles, the Ghostbusters actor is also known as one of golf’s greatest ambassadors. Through his partnership with theCHIVE, the “pro jock” has created an exclusive line of polos, shorts and hats, including Bill’s signature look while on the course: a golf buttoned down shirt.

John and Leo Resig, theCHIVE founders, have honored Bill’s work on and off the green for years through their website’s humorous and lighthearted approach to entertainment. Both Resigs have worked closely on the project to bring fun back to the game, much like Carl Spackler’s days on the field with his license to kill gophers.
