Emmys 2016: Stranger Things kids perform Uptown Funk
The kids from Stranger Things turned the Emmys upside down… and viewers at home didn’t even have a chance to watch.
Before the show started inside Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Millie Bobby Brown performed Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” for attendees.
While the performance wasn’t televised, guests at the Emmys posted video of song on social media.
This was the first Emmys for the stars of Netflix’s addictive throwback series, which captured the hearts of viewers this summer. The eight-episode series, which took place in the ’80s and recalled the work of Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Stephen King, and David Lynch, was renewed last month for a second season.
