With several of his famous counterparts already venturing into the celebrity emoji business, it was only a matter of time before Jimmy Kimmel decided to hop on board with the trend. Sort of.
To prepare for TV’s biggest night, a.k.a. the 68th annual Emmy Awards, Twitter has a created an emoji for Kimmel, who was confirmed as the show’s host in March. The emoji itself is just a simple animation of Kimmel holding a trophy and will appear next to several Emmys hashtags, including #Emmys, #Emmys2016, and #Kimmel.
This will be Kimmel’s second time taking on the job after hosting the show in 2012.
The 2016 Primetime Emmys airs live at 7:00 p.m. ET/ 4:00 p.m. PT on Sunday Sept. 18.
