In preparation for seeing the upcoming Beatles documentary from Ron Howard, Madonna got in the mood by singing one of the legendary band’s hit songs.

On Thursday, the singer was on her way to the world premiere of The Beatles: Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years, when she and some friends decided to belt out one of the group’s classic tracks — and, surprisingly, it didn’t happen to be “Lady Madonna.” They instead went with 1964’s “A Hard Day’s Night,” and Madonna posted a video of their performance on Twitter later with the caption, “On our way to Beatles documentary……….feeling inspired!”

The Beatles fun didn’t end there for the singer: Paul McCartney’s daughter Stella posted a picture with Madonna and wrote, “Waiting to see Dad’s Beatles film! He taught her everything she knows.”

The film, which was made in cooperation with the group’s members and their families, will rock into theaters on Friday and begin streaming on Hulu Sunday.
