Daniel J. Travanti has booked a guest-starring role on an upcoming episode of Chicago Med, EW has learned exclusively.
The Hill Street Blues alum will portray an older patient whose son and trophy girlfriend are in a battle over his care.
The casting marks a reunion for Travanti with executive producer Dick Wolf, whose first full time writing job was on Hill Street Blues.
Chicago Med returns Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
