Bradley Cooper surprised Michelle Obama on Ellen
The actor reveals he once went commando at the White House
While co-hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, First Lady Michelle Obama got a surprise visit from another high-profile guest: Bradley Cooper.
After DeGeneres and Obama struggled to take a selfie, the actor stepped in to lend a helping hand, much like he did at the Oscars in 2014. “You know who’s better at this than me? Bradley Cooper,” DeGeneres said before beckoning the Joy star on stage.
Cooper and DeGeneres then recalled their visits to the White House, where Cooper apparently once went commando. “I had just done American Sniper, and I only had one tuxedo that didn’t fit. I was so nervous that it would rip, so I decided at the last minute to ’86 the underwear,” Cooper explained.
“Right, because if it should rip, it’s much better to not have the underwear on,” DeGeneres joked.
