Although Mistresses‘ season 4 finale was titled “The Show Must Go On,” it won’t.

The prime time soap known for its sexy, salacious story lines has been canceled by ABC, EW has confirmed.

Tuesday’s season (and now series) finale killed off original cast member Yunjin Kim’s character, Karen. Fellow original castmate Alyssa Milano exited the series after season 2, and was replaced by Jennifer Esposito, who departed the series after one season. Jason George exited for a series regular gig on another ABC drama, Grey’s Anatomy.

The series finale drew 2.6 million viewers, and a 0.6 in the 18-to-49-year-old demographic. By comparison, the show debuted in June 2013 to 4.4 million viewers and a 1.2 in the demo.

TVLine.com first reported the news.
