As delays continue to trail Post Malone’s debut album, Stoney, the rapper has tapped Justin Bieber for a new single titled “Deja Vu.”

Released Friday, the song features a slow fizz, cha-cha inflected beat akin to a drowsier take on Drake’s “One Dance.” Malone helms sluggish, lovesick verses while Bieber takes on the come-hither hook. “Tell me is that deja vu? Cause you want me and I want you,” he sings.

The track follows Malone’s May mixtape, Aug. 26, titled for the supposed release of Stoney. When Malone didn’t put out the record on its previously promised date, he issued an apology on social media.

“I know everyone is mad at me right now. I’d be mad too. Due to a couple different issues my album couldn’t be finished on the date I promised,” he wrote. “I couldn’t deliver on my word. There’s no excuse. I needed everything to be perfect for y’all. And I f—– up somewhere along the way.”

Malone recently wrapped a supporting role for Bieber’s Purpose tour. An updated release date for Stoney has not been announced. Listen to “Deja Vu” below.
