Nothing will be what it seems for Nicolas Cage and Faye Dunaway in Inconceivable.

The pair of Oscar winners are joining the thriller Inconceivable, EW has confirmed. Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass) and Natalie Eva Marie (Total Divas) will also star in Jonathan Baker’s film set from Chloe King’s screenplay.

When Katie (Whelan) moves to town with her young daughter — starting a new life after enduring abuse in her past — she quickly befriends another mother, Angela, and her husband Brian (Cage). Angela notices odd behavior from Katie and begins to question whether Katie’s intentions are as innocent as she makes them out to be, or if something dark is lurking beneath the surface.

“This film will change the way all mothers look at their nannies,” Baker said in a statement to EW.

Cage will appear in Oliver Stone’s upcoming thriller/biopic, Snowden, as a former U.S. intelligence officer Hank Forrester. Dunaway has worked less frequently, but will appear in the December horror pic Bye Bye Man from STX Entertainment.

Filming begins in October.

Deadline first reported the news.
