Daveed Diggs Clipping performs for James Corden
Hamilton star Daveed Diggs took his noise rap group clipping to TV for the first time when they made their late night debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden Wednesday night.
Performing their track “A Better Place,” Diggs sang in a plain black sweatshirt while his band mates William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes worked the power electronics. They all stood in front of a light-up background, complete with neon detailing and visible wiring.
The group released their six-track EP Wriggle back in June, but will debut a full-length album Splendor & Misery on Friday via Sub Pop.
