Pokémon Go may have met its match.

While much of the attention going into Apple’s keynote event on Wednesday was the speculation about the next iPhone, one of the most thrilling announcements came in the beginning of the event when Apple revealed that Super Mario is coming to the App Store.

Apple and Nintendo have partnered for the entirely new game, Super Mario Run, which was made specifically for iOS. The game will be simple to use as Mario automatically runs to the right and the user only has to tap the screen to make the character jump to avoid obstacles or hit objects.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, who created Mario, unveiled the game, and said that it will only have a one-time cost. Miyamoto also added that the game has no official release date, but will be available for the “holiday season.”

“We could not be more honored that Nintendo chose to bring Super Mario to iOS first,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said during the launch event.
